My Lord,
Referring to Mr. Severn's despatch No.140
of the 30th April, 1919, I have the honour to request that
I may be informed of the proposals of the Imperial Govern- ment with regard to the erection of a chain of wireless stations throughout the Empire. A notice appeared recent- ly in the local press with regard to a statement in Parliament that such a chain is contemplated with a station in this Colony, and I should be glad, therefore, if steps may be taken at an early date to obtain expert opinion on the question of the erection of a high-powered station for commercial work in this Colony.

I have the honour to be,
My Lord,
Your Lordship's most obedient,
humble servant,
7.5. Stubbs
Governor,&c.
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE
VISCOUNT MILNER, G.C.B.,
&c.,
